鍍鋅板是為防止鋼板表面遭受腐蝕，延長其使用壽命，在鋼板表面涂以一層金屬鋅，這種涂鋅的鋼板稱為鍍鋅板或鍍鋅鋼板。
鍍鋅板廣泛用于建筑、輕工、汽車、家電、電子、農(nóng)牧漁業(yè)、商品包裝等行業(yè)。近幾年，我國建筑、家電等行業(yè)對鍍鋅板需求增長很快，市場潛力較大，尤其是近年來隨著建筑輕型結(jié)構(gòu)的迅速發(fā)展，轎車產(chǎn)量的逐年增加，家用電器的廣泛普及，合資、獨(dú)資企業(yè)電子產(chǎn)品的大量出口，使鍍鋅板的消費(fèi)量增長較快。按生產(chǎn)方式分，鍍鋅板分為熱鍍鋅板和電鍍鋅板。目前，國內(nèi)鍍鋅板的生產(chǎn)無論是數(shù)量還是品種均不能滿足市場需求，每年需要大量進(jìn)口，國內(nèi)鍍鋅板生產(chǎn)市場占有率較低，國內(nèi)市場供不應(yīng)求，市場潛力巨大。
熱鍍鋅板主要用于建筑、家電、汽車、機(jī)械、電子、輕工等行業(yè)。
熱鍍鋅板的常用鋼種有：一般商品卷(cq)，結(jié)構(gòu)用鍍鋅板(hsla)，沖壓鍍鋅板（dq）深沖熱鍍鋅板(ddq)，烘烤硬化熱鍍鋅板(bh)，雙相鋼(dp)，trip鋼（相變誘導(dǎo)塑性鋼）等。
鍍鋅板的外觀
(1)表面狀態(tài)：鍍鋅板由于涂鍍工藝中處理方式不同，表面狀態(tài)也不同，如普通鋅花、細(xì)鋅花、平整鋅花、無鋅花以及磷化處理的表面等。德國標(biāo)準(zhǔn)還規(guī)定有表面級別。
(2)鍍鋅板應(yīng)具有良好的外觀，不得有對產(chǎn)品使用有害的缺陷，如無鍍、孔洞、破裂以及浮渣、超過鍍厚、擦傷、鉻酸 污垢、白銹等。國外標(biāo)準(zhǔn)對具體外觀缺陷規(guī)定都不十分明確。訂貨時對一些具體缺陷應(yīng)在合同上列明。
熱鍍鋅板原料自給率低
目前除寶鋼、武鋼、本鋼和攀鋼原料可以自給外，其余生產(chǎn)線原料全部外購，原料外購的主要原因是品種滿足不了要求，包括高質(zhì)量汽車、家電鍍鋅板的基板，薄規(guī)格建材基板。
總之，高質(zhì)量、高檔次的熱鍍鋅板，尤其是汽車、家電用鍍鋅板，要求具有非常高的表面質(zhì)量、優(yōu)良的板型、不同的合金化鍍層、深沖性能良好、強(qiáng)度高。因此，生產(chǎn)高質(zhì)量熱鍍鋅板生產(chǎn)是一個系統(tǒng)工程，對冶煉、連鑄、熱軋、冷軋、鍍鋅等一系列生產(chǎn)工序均提出質(zhì)量一貫制的要求，生產(chǎn)難度較大。
